OK, so my remote key to lock/unlock the doors or pop the trunk has not been working as well as it was a few months ago, my first thought was to replace the battery. So, i opened it up and took the battery out to replace it. After putting it back together and putting it in the ignition, it will not start the car. This is not the FAST key system, just the regular key/unlocker. Seems that it has lost it's programming to allow the engine to start.

Does anyone know how to properly reprogram this so that I do not have to go to a stealership and get raped on a price to reprogram?

you will have to go to the dealership.

This should be still under warranty, no?

I have the fast key and the module needed replacement, it was done under warranty..
