55,000 Miles, Suggestions needed please.
Hey everyone!
Well my 09 Lancer has finally hit 55,000 miles. Currently it is in a body shop because of a hit and run incident which took out my rear right tailight (outer portion) , bumper and quarter panel.
Meanwhile, its been in the Mitsubishi Dealership more than 20 times for tranny issues, suspension issues, and this year they've been working on the A/C because it died during the August heatwave here in NJ (LUCKY ME)
But, since I am getting it back, theres a few questions that are arising, and their reason behind it:
1. Its been sitting in the shop for more than a month.. and the only thing changed on the Lancer was the oil since I've bought it.
So.. any reccomendations on what fluids to drain/ refill with new?
2. The A/C compressor still sounds like a woodpecker when its kicked on, Mitsubishi says its running as it should. Is there anything I can do to help it?
3. When they fixed the A/C not cooling issue, the car idles at 2,500 RPM! Any suggestions as to what to do? Because beforehand, it would stall as soon as the A/C would kick on.. now it idles at a ridiculous rate!
4. After seeing the damage, its a good idea for an alignment and wheel balance, because it was pulling towards the left after the accident, though that needs to be checked regardless.
Lastly, any suggestions on what clutch to get because this one is not entirely spent but omits such a horrible smell its unbearable. If you know what size that'll be great!
Thanks in advance!! , and I'm definitely keeping this car so everything that needs to be done will be done as necessary!
