Yeah I saw that thread. I was just wondering if even possible could the silver trim piece be taken off. I guess I'll just do those steps and see if there's any way to separate it. Thanks for your help anyways though

 

i believe it is removable as its a separate piece you can purchase through the catalog from mitsubishi.

 

Oh really? I didn't realize you can just buy that piece. You happen to have a rough estimate as to how much? If not I'll have to look into because if I buy the Di-Noc I'd want to get enough for all the other trim too. But then I'm looking at about a $100
