That MBS is 4" ...seems like a PITA to match up to a DP and CBE

It's the cat that is 4" in diameter. The beginning and end of the pipe is smaller, with the MBS coming in a variety of sizes up to 3".

My main curiosity is around what makes the Mil-Spec $100 more? Is it the amount of chemicals that are concentrated internally to break down exhaust fumes? Is it because it's a brand name?

It's always curious where there is large range in pricing for a similar product.

Mil.Spec only sells top quality products, and you do pay for it. I've been very impressed with everything I've bought from them.

Yes but in the grand scheme of things, metal is metal and platinum is same. So what would make a mil-spec that much more money?

I guess i'm looking for a very difficult answer given that no one advertises the internal composition and percentage of rare materials which counteract exhaust fumes.

We have two options that we use, the first one is a new option which isn't added to the site, but it's actually carb legal from my understanding.
