Launched my evo x gsr, but no clutch smell AT ALL?

Hey everyone.

I own an 08 evo x gsr with about 43k miles on it now... planning to install a new clutch soon since its slipping a little and i barely feel the clamping force... so the last 3 times i performed 2 step and launched my car it had absolutely NO clutch smell (as i know its normal to smell the clutch after a launch). Can anybody tell me possibly why that is? any feedback would be helpful, thanks!

Mine was like that also until one day at around 40k miles it decided to slip. Just because its not smelling doesn't mean its not wearing out.

Launching your car period is gonna put wear on the clutch, and launching improperly will definetly give you a stinch. i would be proud that you got a good launch and didnt get the infamous stinch of burnt clutch, lol.
