Has anyone else had their stock SST oil cooler leak? I noticed some staining on my splash guard and thought it was the trans filter housing leak that others have experienced. I went to do my trans flush over the weekend and when I pulled the hose off to drain the cooler, I saw this. I ordered new hoses and a new trans cooler (I did not want to wait for the inspector to come out from the extended warranty place). I was just curious if this has happened on any other SST equipped vehicles? Mine is a 2009 Ralliart with 60k miles.

man thats some serious corrosion on those parts.....i worked on a friends 09 gsr with 72 k and it didn't have anywhere close to that level of corrosion.

But to answer you question, no. I haven't heard of any stock cooler leaks.

Is it leaking only from the hose fitting?

If so - I would have cut the bad portion out and flared it again further down and just replaced the hose...

has anybody else had luck with this leaking problem. Took my 09 Ralliart to the stealership to check out the tranny leak and they quoted me $2,200 for following;
- replace tranny cooler as it is leaking at the hoses
- replace hoses
- replace tranny filter
- replace filter housing
Issue I am having is I only have 35k miles on it and this dealer did a tranny fluid flush for me Year and a half ago. Now all of a sudden it is leaking.
Anybody have any suggestions?
