David, thank you for contacting the AMSOIL Technical Service Department with your question.

The AMSOIL Synthetic DCT Fluid, product code DCT, meets the Mitsubishi Dia Queen SSTF-1 specification so you can use it in the TC-SST transmission.

Thanks,

I wonder if someone has an oil analysis of the SST to see how it compares.

I called amsoil and they said that it's DCT fluid meets or exceeds Diaqueen fluid we use. It was tested against it. If something happens and it's because of their fluids then they will help the customer on getting it fixed according to their Warranty.

Partial bump, but are there any updates from people who've changed to the Amsoil fluid?

went with redline DCTF along with sst oem filter and drivetrain fluid also redline back in February 8, 2017. I put about 4,XXX on my evo since then city driving work and home mostly. No shown of leaks or sound from drivetrain. At the end off the month will be doing a 4 hour drive to the bay see how that goes, other then at the SST is holding up good with redline fluid. Will do a oil analysis at the end of the year to help contribute to this fourm, but for now just enjoy driving it.

my evo is completely stock with 94,XXX MILES, 4th owner

I prefer to use fluids that I don't have to ask "does it work" in my transmission that will cost thousands to rebuild if the fluid hurts it.

While I do trust Amsoil, I only use their motor oil, I'd pony up for Dia-Queen. MAP usually has it for a good price and it's worth signing up for their loyalty program. If all the top shops that make high powered MR's use the OE that speaks volumes.

I haven't read any confirming reports on fluids being 100% compatible besides the OEM Mitsubishi synthetic which is already pretty good, just pricey. I've been fine with topping off with non OEM in the past where I needed more than 8 liters and used Motul equivalent but in general I'm still sticking with OEM.

Still rolling with Redline DCTF since feb 2017. A lot of city driving and couple of 8 hour trip drives with no problem. DCT still holding up great car is also completely stock too.

We've used Diaqueen exclusively for years till about 1-2 years ago. We now use Motul pretty heavily with no issues. We have used Redline in a few units too with no issues. no experience with Amsoil though.
