Millers Oils Millermatic DCT-DSG Fuild (as used in the FQ440)

I know there there has been a TONs discussion on OEM Diaqueen SST fuild vs aftermarket fuild (ie. Castrol BOT 341, Castrol TransMax Dual, Ravenol, Pentosin, HKS, SSP Gold and new comers like Motul, Redline and AMSOIL). From what I looked up it has been confirmed Revenol, Pentosin has cause damage to the TCU coating. Motul seems to work and Jack's has been using for the last few years along with Redline. I know Kozmic only recommends OEM Diaqueen based on his experience, but has anyone tried Millers Oil Millermatic DCT-DSG fuild as recommended by Mitsubishi UK for the FQ-440? I would find it hard to believe the Mitsubishi UK would recommend a DCT fuild that in the long run would damage the clutches, TCU and the glue on the gear selector.

I might have to find this and use it, I am in Germany and there are slim to none Evos out here. I pull into a Mitsubishi dealer and the service guys come out like I'm driving a Lambo in awe, lol. They are unable AND unwilling to do any maintenance or code checks (supposedly different codes between US an European models) on the car and I have deemed them pretty much useless at this point.

I dunno if im reading into too much, but it does say that the SST is specifically built for the FQ440 which is why that fluid is called for. So the next question is what is different about the FQ440 SST?

Possibly different clutch packs for longevity?

440 at the crank is probably close to 380-400whp. The standard SST is on fairly borrowed time at that level.

So, you think it would be more than sufficient for the "standard" SST right?

I'm not sure why you just haven't ordered the fluid from Ross Sport yet that I linked you in another thread. You're playing a with a big money **** up if you put fluid that "should" work in that trans and it doesn't..

I would like to order fluid, if that's directed to me, but many won't ship to APO which I need them to do because I am stationed overseas.

Interesting that they call for that specific fluid for the FQ-440. However, I for one wouldn't want to be the first test pilot for that.....

@letsgetthisdone - it's all about the torque, and it seems a LOT of failures are AFTER one or more events of overheating the trans. I think that is about all it takes to loosen some of the glued sensors in the trans.

It is about torque. But HP is an indication of torque at a certain RPM. And while the SST can handle the 360-380wtq spike of a stock turbo, the stock clutches will slip and not live if you have a setup that is making that torque up top where shifting generally occurs. So, with a 450-500hp setup, the stock clutches tend to not last.

Setup a PO Box in a nearby town? Make friends with a local and ship to their place?

Well, then it takes on an entire different cost to ship here. Sucks, the best way would be to my APO because overseas shipping and then it would have to get through German customs and I'm not sure they'd even let me get it honestly because oils and such are so expensive here they might want to make me buy here.
