S-Sport = HAPPINESS

Imagine an area where the traffic is so thick pedestrians and bicyclists get to their destinations faster... When cars, trucks, and buses are on every side of you.. making you pray for a clear spot to lane change. Where your 10 mile commute is roughly 30-45 minutes long...:crap:

This morning, amazingly, the streets were flowing what would be considered to be "normal" traffic speeds! I decided to S-Sport :eek:

Arrived at the job site in 15 minutes with out breaking the speed limit but enjoying every moment of acceleration from light to light and from on ramp to off ramp.

If it wasn't for the MR's gracious ability to navigate my terrible commutes in regular D1 mode... I would be in a GSR cursing every inch of spare road the other commuters are robbing me from!

D mode in the MR is relax, enjoy the music, roll the windows down, think about your life. :)

S-Sport is LIVE YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW mode! :cool:

Please feel free to bump this thread with more :mitsu:MR:mitsu: love stories and how it satisfies your life! {thumbup}

Buy a motorcycle and lane split or drive on the shoulder :) 10miles = 8mins :)

Lol. I love s-sport as well. Its jus something about it. Its relaxing but fast as hell at the same time. Oh ye, less cabin noise compared to my 350z. No rattling of any sort. Love my SE!!

How is the difference in acceleration between your Z and your evo? Always wanted to try a Z, just never got the chance :lol:

i have a twin turbo Z (z32) and definitely the evo x has less of a lag.

Oh, C'mom, man, FIND a real TRACK! S-Sport was not designed for the traffic LOL. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it tho, but...

so you never... you know, pop that bugger in S-Sport and enjoy the capabilities unless you've made it to the track with your helmet on and 5 point harness strapped in with the green light?

Well, I just don't wanna make too much noise on the street and get too much attention from our lovely Cops. Because whenever I press the gas paddle, It got to be all the way to the floor LOL. "Sport" mode is good enough for me on public roads {thumbup}

S-Sport on the track is amazing.. I noticed its a little rougher on the streets from light to light lol...

Are you guys trying S-Sport in full auto mode or manual?
Full auto can be too much for the streets but manual mode is fun!

what's the difference between auto s-sport and shifting yourself in manual? I thought they were the same thing.

Auto S-Sport = turn on S-Sport, leave it in D and let the transmission shift for you

Manual S-Sport = turn on S-Sport and use the floor shifter or the paddles to manually shift

At least that's how I understand it :mitsu:

I never tried it on auto mode, but does it automatically keep you within the powerband lol?
