Evo X C161E Code, What Do I Replace?
Hello all, as stated above I have an Evo X which the infamous C161E Code has popped up. What do I replace? I am not sure if it's the ACD Pump (middle of car) or the AYC (rear passenger side)? I have read a lot of the threads pertaining to this and I am honestly still unsure because some people call the ACD the AYC and vice versa. To avoid me being further confused can someone explain it to me prior to me making a costly purchase and it be the wrong one. Thanks in advance all...

There is only one pump for the AWC (ACD and AYC), it's behind the passenger rear tire. You can attempt flushing and bleeding it, but it's more likely that it needs replaced.

Thanks man, was just trying to make sure prior to making the wrong purchase because I am stationed in Germany and Mitsubishi here won't help an American car and nobody in the states will either...

Glad the Evo X community is so helpful....NOT. Miss my IX and that community.
