Breather hose leaking oil?

Hey guys
I was doing some maintenance on my MR this weekend and I noticed some oil under the body on the tranny side. Worried it was a seal I ended up following it to some kind of breather hose. The hose comes out of the shifter mechanism it looks like and routes to the right side of the engine bay then just points down.

Got quiet a bit of fluid just beside where the control arm mounts to the sub frame.

I just did a track day and it seemed most of the oil came post track day as I haven't really noticed it before.

Any ideas why a breather hose is leaking tranny fluid? or Sweating it rather. (its not dripping by any means)

Just an update to my thread.

Cause of the problem was found to be overfilled fluid by about 2.x L.

Under high heat conditions the pressure was causing the fluid to push through the breather hose.

^is that the original fill amount (from Mitsu) or a dealership/self drain and refill?

Makes sense that it would force some out, much better that happens then cause pressure issues with a closed system. I still smell the fluid sometimes when I push the car hard, but it's gotten quite a bit better than before. Likely that is the source of my smell.
