Tear Down

Comments: Cylinder head ports and intake manifold appear to be well designed from the factory, but there is always room for improvement We're a bit concerned with the cam on bucket and timing chain in regards to longevity, but only time will tell if our concerns are warranted...

We're finally making some progress! The shortblock is ready to go and will be in longblock form in no time!

Customer ended up wanting to go with just a FP Green on a FULLY BUILT motor. Wasn't our personal car to own so we had no say!

what exactly was the work done on the transmission
I am seeing cooling and so forth but alos seeing some clutches, where did those come from?

It was an early version of the SSP clutches and their cooler kit, unfortunately this build was completed before the advancements came about in regards to TCU tuning so we never really realized its full potential
