Don't trash Rhys, he's a damn good rally driver.
I am brand new to this forum, so HI to start off with.
Rhys is a damn good rally driver. I first saw him drive when I was the crew for Andrew Havas at the 2001 Wild West Rally. Rhys parked next to us at one of the service spots and was doing extremely well until an unfortunate car failure knocked him out of the race. **** happens, Andrew rolled at Charlevoix while heading for 3rd overall in the old '79 RX-7. Rhys like Andrew has unfortunate **** happen...it is not them being bad drivers, there are so many variables that play into this sport that you cannot blame the driver.
So if Rhys is reading this, HI I thank you for letting me drool over your EVO and I hope this and upcoming seasons will be excellent for both you and Andrew...especially Andrew because then I can become full time crew for him.
If any of you have not gone to a rally...GO! It is an incredible experience and everyone is extremely friendly. I was blown away when Rhys's crew offered to help watch over our crap when I had to run to the store to get some food. The names are big, but they are all really close friends and great people at these rally events.

settle down..... have some dip.
Once brings out step 2 of the Evo VII WRC, it will start to earn more points. Nothing close to championship material because they have young up-and-coming drivers, but it should be better. The car they have now was rushed out the end of last year and it shows. It's also hard because the subbies and Evos always do better in slicker conditions -hence why the Peugeots have dominated the last 3 out of 4 rallies this year. Watch the Peugeots at the next rally -last year, none of them finished at all! Those cars are all tarmac and no dirt or snow.

RHYS is cool
:mitsu It is all about big business, Did you also forget to mention, that he did set the fastest time at pikes pike this year? There are many, many, differant variables that can happen in rally. You will change your mind, when RMR finishes their EVO II. The nastier the track gets, the more the EVOS STAND OUT. I would like to thank Rhys, for building his Lancer. There has been, many nights spend drooling over it. Have nice frosty , You will feel better...

I've been reading this thread and it seams like the guys that really know rally and have the facts to back it up think that rhys is not that qualified for the job. The rest of the people that only play play station and drink cool-aid think rhys is cool. That's only my opinion.
