Super Street Time Attack Road A
Sounds like you were really flying. Big congradulations on the win Cory. When will the GSC Evo be out for another run? I thought you guys were planning on bringing it to Road Atlanta. I am looking forward to seeing it run.

the GSC car is still in the middle of some upgrades. A better full cage is going in allong with a freshening of the engine. It will be back in action soon.
So.........we can put 3 cars in the big rig.........Load up the AMS evo, the GSC evo and the GT3 and head out to button willow?

My buddy in the 993 turbo barely beat your time the very last lap of the last session to take the win in Limited 4wd. I think he got you by .05 sec's. Defiantely a close finish

He must have found a ton of time somewhere because he was back a good 6 seconds before the final session looking at the result printouts I have. Was that the final results printout or just the last session because I took out a passenger in that session. My fastest lap of the day before the last session was a 1:46.577, for reference.
Anyway, still a fun weekend. Congrats Cory.

Harrison's last lap of the last session was a 1:46.52. Me and him were doing some lead follow on the track so I was pushing him a little to go quicker. He was very surprised to see the final sheets and basically tie your time. That was a good run by both of you guys, that is a great finish being that close
Gotcha, thanks Cory. Definately a close finish.
I'll make sure to stop by and say hi at Roebling if you are going to be there. I'm at almost all the NASA-SE events except I'm usually working Pit & Grid for track time. I will be driving the last 2 events this year, and most next year, though.
By the way, I'm an ME major as well

After re-reading what I posted in this thread, I would like to apologize to Tanner for making comparisons of his driving with Tyler's. I should not have said anything. After doing more checking, I find that Tanner does indeed have a decent amount of road course time under his belt in addition to his known successes in rally, and drifting. I would also like to apologize to Greg for messing up his thread. I will refrain from making any comments that can possibly be construed as demeaning anyones driving skills in the future. My bad.
Sorry,
Mark
