RallySport sponsors 2002 Rally Mexico
Alexandria, VA – In a recent and rapid development, RallySport is proud to announce its association with Rally Mexico. RallySport will be sponsoring the 02 Rally Mexico in part. The sponsorship was finalized in frenzy with only 28 days to go before the event. 2002 will prove to be a building bridge between the rally management and RallySport.
"I’m really excited to be associated with an event that can be a World Rally Championship event as early as next year. It was one of those last minute things and I’m glad that we were able to form an alliance.” said RallySport President Sumit Panjabi
Over the course of the year, RallySport will continue to communicate with the rally officials and build upon an already healthy relationship. While 2002 program was chalked up at the last minute, discussions to develop the 2003 program are already underway. RallySport will be the official merchandiser for the 2003 Rally Mexico.
In the US RallySport sponsors the Rim of the World ProRally and the Ski Sawmill ClubRally. Rim of the World is taking place May 3-4 in Palmdale California, and information can be found at www.rimoftheworldrally.com. Ski Sawmill is taking place May 10-11 in Morris Pennsylvania, and information can be found at www.rallyright.com/sawmill/index.html. RallySport also sponsors a '97 Mitsubishi Mirage, fielded by Nui Motorsports. "This (sponsorship of Rally Mexico) offers us a unique opportunity to increase international awareness of our company and the products and services we provide."
