Photos of Evolution II Prepared for track/Hillclimb 2008

Here are some pictures of my Evo in 2008 trim. I'm going to be doing Ascutney hillclimb in two weekends.

I think that the turbo-through-radiator setup is a first. I know that the coolant overflow isn't plumbed. I have to take the bumper off again so we can load on the dyno to tune it this week. The car will be using an Evo VIII ECU with OBDII compliance.
Alex

The turbo is a PTE 56 trim. Since options are very limited for tuning the Evo 1-3 ECU I gave it some thought and asked myself why not run a conversion harness and use an OBD2 Evo 8 computer. I have to wire the OBD2 port in today. Once that's done we can reflash the car on the dyno. It's a way for me to avoid spending 2k on an Autronic and harness materials right now.

The cage.. I'll probably add to it this year. It's a T45 from Custom Cages UK that I installed.

Car is coming along great Al. I hope it brings you much enjoyment all season. I need to get off my lazy a$$ and come see you guys. I'd love to see it run on the dyno.

Looking good alex. Are you going to block airflow through the split in the radiator where there is space (thats not being taken up by the wg actuator and piping)?
