For who; for you? I picked up the APR wing this winter and it came with the extentions. I can't say I feel anything feels much different than the stock setup.
Dude, I dunno. It was grinding into 5th; what seems like the normality now. My Evo has 65 track days on it now and nearly 25,000 miles.
I'm pretty sure it'll need a rebuild at some point this season. That's just how it goes when you pushing nearly 450hp at the crank (350-370whp). Shep or APM Racing will probably do the work. I'm not sure if I'll redo the gearing, the FD or keep everything the same. If I weren't counting mod pts for NASA I know what I'd do...

I'm in central IL too, let me know if you ever wanna see what the gearing is like. Or maybe I'll finally make it out to the autobahn this summer lol and you can check out shift points/gearing there.

Wow, that track record vid, you were cooking. Carrying a ton of speed into and through corners, very nice.
I've got the Evo 8 3-4 in my IX, but it's been in there since I started the track habit, so I don't know how it would compare. RPM drops seem very even gear to gear.

+3 pts - for altered gear ratios. That's 1 gear or all of them.
0 pts - for upgraded Final Drive.
I've through about the final drive, but I think that'd make things worse. There's no way I'd want shorter gears; so if I made everything longer it'd realllllly stretch out 5th. With a 4.11 it'd push 5th gear out like ~11mph.
I could run a larger tire. But I've got rubbing now so I know that'd take some work... But it might be worth it. Who knows; gonna run my next even as is and see how the trans responds.
Thx for the well-wishes and advice everyone!

And to that point, if TTS is at some point in the future - because it mirrors the ST-2 ruleset for w2w that I have my eye on as well (GoForward, Bueller and Hamflex already there) I'd much rather have the VIII 3/4.
Hell, if it weren't for VIR or Road America, I'd like the 4.11 in there too AND the shorter .825 JDM 5th to pull it all back down. Not that I've been researching much...

NASA's official race report for Autobahn is out.

In case you're wondering - They are written by each of the respective series directors.

I've had it on my tentative list the entire year, but I just dunno. It was an exhausting trip last year and the mountain claimed my 04 Titan on the climb out so it was an expensive trip too! It was also the 3rd track weekend in a row and this year would be even tougher with 2 NASA events in the 2 weekends leading to it including Autobahn (160miles) and Mid-Ohio (460 miles). So that'd be a total of 3000 roundtrip towing miles in 3 weekends!
So overall July is kinda up in the air for me still. But the UTCC is on the radar!
