Global Time Attack Autobahn Chicago, Who's Going?

Hey guys/gals,
Sounds like some sick cars are going to be at Autobahn Sept 17th and 18th (Ryan Gates, Turn In Concepts, GST, Chris Rado, our Pro Awesome Evo, maybe even Insane Speed, ect...) Is anyone else planning on going?

Dan

Being a week right after NASA Nationals, there's no way I could pull this off.

Have fun though!

Anyone planning on attending this event that will be looking for lodging and has not booked it yet be aware that NASCAR is running in Joliet that same weekend. All the motels in the Joliet area are booked and the ones in the surrounding communites are filling up fast as well.

I will be there running in NASA TT. I look forward to meeting some of the great drivers/teams that will be there for GTA.

Just some new info for people. If you want to compete, you do not need a NASA TT License, but you do need a NASA Membership.

Im probably going to make this my first ever GTA event . Since its being run with NASA is the 50 car limit for both combined or will the track time be cut short?

Also how much track time do you usually get at GTA events , and what is the usual schedule I.E. 10 AM-1PM saturday Practice sessions. 1:30 Timed events ... Same for sunday???

EDIT link here but its not very specific as to timed runs and such...http://www.globaltimeattack.com/glob...-to-0918-2011/

I'd guess anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours of track time per day if you did every single session available. Generally the schedule is released closer to the actual track day, but usually the fun starts about 8am and you'll be on track every 1-3 hours.

Since it is a NASA event, it SHOULD be free to spectate. I have never had to pay just to come check it out. Worst come to worst, it would be like $5-$10. Stop on out and say hello. I'd love to meet some of the EvoM people!
