RIP buddy. They made a good call on not going in with the race and doing the 5 lap tribute to Dan.

Ya I was totally bummed yesterday when I saw that, sucks. Growing up 1/2 hour from Indy and all my years watching i've never seen a crash quite like this.

Everything happened so quick, it's amazing nobody else was seriously injured

 

I saw that in real time, and everyone in room gasped..terrible crash and sad to see his life lost

Hopefully IRL will ban these short track ovals going fwd. Doubt they will ever race there again

Anyways, I agree that the short ovals are too dangerous & should be deleted from the IRL schedule. More road tracks
