Being that it’s a Private Rental are there any Rules on Mods or Requirements for Safety? I know some places don’t allow Harness and Roll bars to shed light on a few.

same rules that would apply to a regular club run track event. Roll-bars and harnesses are fine assuming they are installed correctly and don't pose any danger to you or your instructor.

If you have specific questions related to whether or not your vehicle can attend please email me and we'll get you squared away.

Excuses I'm not set up for snow rally, but I'm ready to snow rally.

I'm actually really interested in doing a snow/ice HPDE... sounds like the perfect scenario for an Evo... had a TON of fun doing an HPDE at NJMP a couple months back in monsoon conditions...

As far as running on pavement, what's the difference in grip when we're running cold tires on a very very cold track?

i think most of us are planning to run all seasons or snow tires.

who knows? it could be one of those 60-70* february days then people would be running slicks.

i imagine grip would be reduced in colder weather regardless of what tires you're on

grip will be reduced, but nothing like it would be in the snow.

there is a guy coming who is an ex-pro motorbike racer that will be running hoosiers on his race car if its above 32*. lol

as colder is gets the softer tire you need. Now when it comes down to accumulation or anything else on the surface then you might be better off with a super soft rain tires . In snow = snow tires etc.

but i do not think we need to put too much thought in the tires. This will be not a race just having fun, get some rust off, check and adjust set ups , etc.

THis is how i think about this day. All seasons should be fine, or something stock-ish if its not wet.
