Not proud of my driving here (I'm pretty rusty on Summit Point main circuit), but I'll share anyway. I think there are at least 2-3 seconds a lap left in the car with later braking and more use of the brakes to rotate the car in the fast turns. Without traffic, I think that would put the car into the 1:22-1:23 range as it sits. How is this possible on 255 width street tires? I'm honestly shocked at how these tires, which are two years old, can stick like this and never get greasy.

i was there saturday and sunday with NASA. here's my laps for comparison. although i have suspension, aero and rcomp tires . my best laps was 1:19.6 in TT4 trim which is current record. my record for TT3 is 1:18.3 but that was from 3 years ago. I'm sure a well setup TT3 car can go faster now.

i like to track out more at T6 and from there, flat out to T10

Love the dive bomb from the Stingray, who then promptly blows the corner

C7 z06 on r888 tires. He kills me on the straight but I pull away from him quick in the corners. That screw up that fast lap then the crx crew up the next fast lap. So I definitely could have went faster than 1:19.6.

thanks.
yeah he ran in TTU. i guess he just wanted to get some seat time in TT. but if he wasn't trying to be competitive, why he's trying to screw other people's time when i know i had faster lap times from previous day.

I wonder if that is the same Z06 that I was following in my Shenandoah video above? Same color, same R888 tires and the guy in my group had about 750 hp.

I'm newer to HPDE, and also this was my first time at Mid-Ohio. Had a blast, this was one of my better laps, even though a Miata and a STI clogged up the last few corners.

Your car is sticking hard in corners (g meter) for being new to HPDE. Are you on R compounds?

Car has a decent amount of suspension work done, originally for AutoX w/ R-Comps. In this event I'm running Pirelli DH Slicks I got used.

chasing a TT4 Evo X at Watkins Glen this past weekend. my car always seems to push at the Glen. I even took the rear wing off or one session to test, it got rid of the understeer on all the corners except for the last two corners T10 and T11, the rear end would snap out. so i put the rear wing back on. the evo x seems to pull out of corners better with the rear AYC diff. my rear wheel bearing is starting to go out again. i'll have to replace it before going to VIR next weekend.
