2018 WTAC / Tilton Interiors Racing Evo
Tilton Interiors Racing have done it again, they have won the World Time Attack Challenge for the second in year in a row with their insanely built/prepped Evo. Last year driver Garth Walden won the competition and set a track and class record of 1:24.8550. This year he managed to do better and put down a 1:24.8412 on the last lap of the last session. Right on his heels was Japanese driver Under Suzuki in the Torch Racing S15 who put down a 1:24.88xx, also done on the last lap of the last session. It was incredible to watch. Congratlations Tilton Interiors for winning this event again, and thank you for doing it in a Evo. Goes to show just how awesome our car really is.
Here's the 1:24.8550 lap from from last year, I'll upload some of the new footage once its released. Check out the pass at 1:03

2010 : Cyber Evo
2011 : Cyber Evo
2012: Nemo Evo
2013: Tilton

also let us not forget the CT230R

It's definitely great to see Tilton win, but I do think that Nemo & Sierra Sierra would have done even better, sad those cars were built and then never got to even see their potential.

tilton more so than nemo was. i believe motoiq has a nerds eye article from last year about tilton, and said they are doing a new one since the whole team was out there this year.
i really wish there were more spy shots of the aero pack tho, i know how much DF nemo and Under were/are making but voltex stepped it up on the top fuel s2k and tilton and used some very interesting methods.

Tilton was still mostly an Evo all the way around. I dont know how much they changed on the off season though. The Nemo evo had nothing but the floor pan and strut towers left. Nothing else was even close to OEM. Really the Tilton car is way more in line with the spirit of production car built for racing. If the rules allowed it the nemo car would been tube frame. I love the tilton car. Nemo was awesome but just didnt have the spirit of an Evo any longer.
