i'm getting my spare tranny rebuilt and was thinking of putting these in. has anyone used them on their track car? my friend who rebuilds a lot of honda tranny said they are hit and miss with honda guys depending on manufacture and applications.

I'm also looking for some feedback. My tranny is out for rebuild and they are awaiting my decision whether to use the carbon synchros or not.

I have them, they feel very nice, you can tell the difference. I few races on them already and no problems.

my friend said the ones he puts in honda tranny last about half as long as the oem synchro.

Subscribed, I'm thinking of rebuilding the tranny soon as well and have been considering these instead of OEM.

In the DSM world of transmissions people view the carbon lined synchros as inferior to the bronze synchros that are available. I would assume because of toughness.

we've been using carbon synchros on 4th and 5th in several of our street cars. They seem to last a bit longer
