PA's #4 rod failure was not a spun bearing and had nothing to do with the oil pan.

Neither of their failures really have anything to do with the oil pan.

Thanks for clarifying. I haven't really seen much said about the situation. I suppose I shouldn't have assumed it was a bearing issue haha.

I cant really speak on their behalf of the details. Its better if it comes from the real source, more accurate that way.

Mike divulged some on the FB post, but not a lot. He also noted they do see pressure drops, but the way he said it made me think they weren't alarming or reason for concern.

I'm sure to a degree they dont want to give away their "secret sauce" about their setup in anyway since they do compete.

there is not much of any secrets really.

I've yet to see any evo hitting 1.6+ lateral G's not dropping oil pressures on right hand sweepers.

Yeah, if you follow them on FB, their whole drivetrain/engine setup is anything but a secret. Unless they're using nitrous and not telling anyone...lol.

Secret sauce would be in chassis setup and aero.

this.

no matter the baffles in the pan, a LONG right hander will starve the engine of oil. People forget that at high rpm the oil pump will take almost half litre of oil per second and most of that oil ends up on the gearbox side of the engine.. Larger oil capacity does help.. Also, the baffles on the racefab pan are quite low.. Anyway, everyone can do a simple experiment.. fill the pan with water, provided you have it off the engine of course, tilt it at 45 deg to the gearbox side... that is 1G right hander.. See where all the water goes instantly

^Im not sure if it fits with the factory undertray but I can certainly ask...ill put you in as tentative Gunna have to bully you but you'll thank me later.

The pricing is listed below and varies depending on if you send in your own or have him supply one. I figure you'll be looking at around $200 for shipping, maybe a lil more.

There would be additional shipping on top of that figure but more in the $100 range since its going one way if he's supplying a new pan.

Pickup would just bolt right on, think its 2 bolts but I forget. Ill have to find out about stock undertray; thats a good point. I figure a used oil pan should fetch idk 150 maybe so your BR pan perhaps like 250?
