I'll see if we can't knock one out for you. They're pretty easy to make.

I think I have another plug so I'd just have to drill it tap it and send it. Prolly just a couple bucks for shipping. If I don't have one then just add whatever the plug cost.

I bought a Racefab pan a few months ago to replace my AMS. Rob @Racefab was easy to deal with and I bought a few pans for my car and a few buddies.
I cleaned the pan again when it arrived and removed my ams pan and scraper. Installed a Tomei crank scraper and the new pan, along with a -10 drain.

Started it up and then changed the oil again after a few minutes. The pan holds about .5 qt more then the ams . It fits well and I'm happy with it. It does take awhile for the oil to get to temp and I never beat on the car until the oil is over 160*.

Big thanks to Balrok for his thread/testing and for Racefab developing the pan. Anyone can glue a pan together, but I'd rather purchase something well tested on track with data logs. We all have $$$ in our engines so this pan works well until its time to really fix the problem ( install dry sump)

I'd try Ultra Sonic cleaning, or whatever it's called. Mine was clean as a whistle with a light coat of oil to prevent rust.

I've welded a few times and I have full time fab guy but chose to go with tested and proven results. It's nice when the R&D is already done and you can support people that have put the time in.

You'll enjoy it until we all win the lottery and go dry sump lol.

Far as cleaning ya if you have the hot tanks and sources for that go that route. I didn't so I rinsed the hell out of it with water pressure first then oil, degreaser and more degreaser and rise the hell out of it again, heated it up to dry.

Of course. I'm saying building one of these oil pans isn't as easy as "glueing it together".

Hope you don't mind me dredging up an older thread. The topic of RaceFab sumps came up on a thread I have running on the MLR and wanted to check here to see if you guys have / are willing to share any logged data with cars fitted with this sump.

Here's a few examples I have from sprinting my 5 RS - OEM sump, Tomei baffle plate, Cosworth crank scraper, Kiggly HLA, tarmac rally slick tyres (soft compound).

Castle Combe running C03 rally slicks:

Blyton running CR311 rally slicks:

Hethel running rally slicks:

And here's a much happier plot from Dave Rowes old Pikes Peak evo running slicks and a dry sump kit around Blyton.

It would be interesting to see how a larger capacity baffled sump like the Racefab one would perform - tempted to give one a try before I take the plunge with a dry sump kit.

No data plots, but between video and my eyeball, I'm seeing lower temps and steady oil pressure (even on dreaded, long, right-hand sweepers). The pan we built holds takes about a 6.5qt oil change. Much better than OEM
Not sure if that's the type of info you are looking for, but wanted to share my personal experience. My pan is similar to RaceFab's.

My data is up around post #130 of this thread. But you hit the nail on the head, this is a great stepping stone but not ultimately solved until we go dry sump .
