Ive asked Brandon to post up, but he has not been active on our boards. Maybe Paul can convince him to or maybe Paul (DontStopMe) will do it on his behalf

looks like, just from the handful of pics, he could afford to run a little more caster up front

Ken's car has both my uprights and control arms but I don't think they run a ton of camber. I talked with Ken about my thoughts on camber but not sure what they dialed in.

I know EvoBro aka Carl aka Meathooker seems to really like pushing the wheels forward like I do. Coming from his RZR racing, that had a big impact on those things and on Evos it gets more caster, less front weight (marginal, but everything is marginal at this point), and clearance to backside of front fender.

Not yet, been working on the getting the V2 front uprights done.

One thing Im a little unsure on is the clocking of it. How do I get a spherical on the rear mount so I can have a bit of length adjustment but not have the thing just flop over to the side. I'm not sure I can and will have to use an OEM style bushing. Maybe its just not needed though and thats fine.

Can design wobble stoppers if you do a spherical bearing. Something like these:

I think RTErnie just made the misalignment spacer big enough to where it bottoms out on the bearing cup to limit angle.

Brandon did a nice little build album on facebook. I also think it will be in a few magazines soon too. I know it got some good attention out in Vegas and even at Super Lap when the car was there. We used Brandons evo as a "parts car" for my evo during SLB. Oh and a food fetcher.

Spied this on FB just now. Ken Thwaits flat bottom fabrication. Looks nicely done & w/NACA ducts

Wait, Do I see some specially fabricated, CNC lower control arms & uprights? Yes I do

Its a good chance that the idea behind the ducts was for heat evacuation. Having them in reverse direction would certainly create a volume of drag

Keep in mind this EvO is for short, hard sprints, so cooling is not their biggest concern

Went to the 2018 event held at Fontana. Got to meet & talk w/Ken Thwaits & saw it run. He won the AX event in his class (2nd quickest car overall in AX)

Never have i been to an Optima Challenge but i must say the highest level builds i have ever been around (certainly not your typical track day rods)
Just a small sample of what was there
