I forgot, my track RPF1's are 17x10 on 295/35. My autocross RPF1's are 17x9.5 on 275/35 A7's. Interesting in the brake compounds. Agree completely with the Motul getting squishy. I just checked my last brake fluid. Tried new Prospeed 683. It did better.

Other than a battery relocate, I don't know what's left to change to lighten up the front weight. I'd love a widebody kit, 18x11's, six pots, and aero. Ho hum. I still outran new 991 GT3's at COTA by a second. 2:29 vs 2:30. More driver than car probably.

There's an older thread here somewhere that went OCD on weight loss. Changing fuel rails, motor mounts, ICP's, fans, etc all in the name of weight loss. If your class allows for it, you can also get creative with the tubular K Members, subframes, control arms etc that would save a LOT of weight.

Oh yes. Forgot about the tubular options. Good call. Might delete the ACD. Anyone ever use it anyway?

The ACD is constantly in use. You should relocate it, not delete it.

I did the ACD relocation. It's difficult but not as bad as say a clutch job. I also did mine in full hard lines all the way back which definitely upped the difficulty factor. You can mount it to the frame rail right under the right rear the bolt holes are already there you'll just need to make a notch in the stock bracket (which you also cut the reservoir support off of.) Then you make holes for the reservoir lines and it goes in the trunk. If you can find the grommet off an Evo x it makes for a nice clean install.

* 3100lbs
* AP 8350 calipers (stock rear)
* Hawk DTC 70
* fluids mentioned above (fresh always)
* Shep everything
* carbon driveshaft
* 2.4 Stroker
My GT3 buddies wrinkle pavement when they stop so deeeeeep! Reminded me how my AP's used to stop me before current speeds.
didnt' see you mention brake cooling ducts. get some if you don't already have them. also are you running AP J-hooks calipers. i noticed a big improvement in braking torque going from oem blank rotors to slotted rotors. although they do increase pad wear.

i was like you for awhile, wanted to stay with 17" wheels, for weight and cost of tires. but the tires size are so limited for 17" wheels, so i switched to 18" wheels. still got 17" for street tires and hoosier wets.

Kind of a side bar... Has anyone tried to ceramic coat the pots, to keep the heat transfer down to the fluid?

Yeah I also run the racing brake stainless Pistons with ducting and I have NEVER experienced pedal/fluid fade. I did have pad fade once though where I had pedal but the pads friction had fallen off a cliff.

Did this go anywhere?

Just got the marketing email about em...for EVERY corvette/M3 etc out there...no Evo love. If I can get a count of who's genuinely interested we may be able to sway them. Esp a rear kit.
