also my suggestion if that matters in anyway, to get a ACD Gems / Motec / Pectel ECU if that works with your current engine ECU. Plug and play the gems and the Pectel, dont know about the motec. And i might can help you to get a pro team tested map for you for tarmac

I'd get the diamond front subframe too makes servicing the clutch much easier. As well as weight savings.

Flammable fluids in the passenger compartment are frowned upon by most sanctioning bodies lol.

Got an email back from AP Racing.

" Nothing listed by APR Factory to date for the Evo competition kits using the new Pro 5000R range.
But contact UK distributor, they are devising new kits using this new caliper range."

Thank you,

Peter Collen

This is the caliper that we would be using if we move forward. Rear's will be developed when I tell him if we are using a cable or hydraulic hand brake. Thoughts?

http://www.apracing.com/product_deta...thick_pad.aspx

They would use 362x32mm discs.

Hmm, to make things cheaper i'd opt to delete the handbrake all together. But since the rotor sits so far back from the hub anyway it may just require the odd shaped hat regardless. If we can simply use our 8350's in rear with smaller pistons that'd help immensely with costs.

For safety reasons would you really want to delete it? Is the handbrake required in any rules? Just thinking ahead a little for others who may want in.

Our hand brake is a joke. A friend tried to use it in his car for drifiting. From 60mph, the car slowed down maybe 10mph, then they just started smoking and the car quit slowing down...lol

LoL deff not, which is likely why he's asking if we're using Hydro brakes which is the real deal for drift/rally. Only time I ever used the hand brake was loading in the trailer. If you try using that at speed on track you may find yourself kissing tire walls.
