this is just personal experience haha. im sure its a great oil and i use the gearbox oil without issue.

Just seemed to when it got hot id lose oil pressure when accelerating/revving. no matter how full we made the level. it was perfect untill it got warm and u gave the car some revs. all we could put it down to was that the oil was foaming up as the temps were fine.

This could be due to having a 2.3l crank which could have been chopping through the oil or anything. we never bothered to look any further into it after going back to the motul 15w 50 and the issue went away.

Damn I am glad I asked this age old question of which oil and fluids. Thanks guys for your proven experiences. I guess I need to match up my bearing clearances and also match with dry sump recommendations. And turbo for that matter. Gees! This is supposed to be the fun part. LOL. Appreciate the engine break in advice. We set our goal for Feb 24th start date! Seems impossible looking at what we have to do.

Appreciate all the forum advice and input. Thank you.
