New Brake Rotor Option From PowerBrake

So while I was at PRI today I stopped by the PowerBrake booth and talked to one of the reps there. He informed me that PB is now making replacement rotors for stock brake setups (they used to only do 2 piece stuff for their BBKs).

The rotors seem pretty high quality and although they aren't two piece rotors, the price is not bad at all (about $300 for a front pair and about $220 for a rear pair). They also already have temp recording paint on them which is nice for track guys.

I searched around here and came up with nothing from them on this forum so to give a bit of info about the company. They make brake kits for LOTS of racing series, one of the most brutal being the Dakar rally (most Dakar trucks run RB setups). I've got a handful of friends who run their big brake kits (on other platforms) and I've only ever heard fantastic things about them. Their BBK stuff is priced pretty similar to other serious competitors (6 pot, 350x34mm kit is ~$2800) but all of the materials are super corrosion resistant and their pistons use an internal wiper seal so their service life is pretty long.

Maybe tomorrow I'll swing by their booth again and grab some pics to throw up here for you guys. I think I'm going to try a set of these rotors before buying a new set of rings for my fried 2 piece rotors I have laying around. If/when I do, I'll throw a a small review in this thread.

Meh, Centric Premiums all day long. Never had an issue tracking over a decade with them.

Cost to performance ratio is unchallenged.
