Do you have blackstone labs results for your tracked car?
I have a built motor (no balance shafts) with about 10k miles on it that is running great. I just sent in my first 1000 mile oil sample which included quite a bit of wide open throttle beat down and high RPM action.
The results are good less the lead reading. Having done my initial internet search it appears the lead reading could be normal for a car that is not a daily driver. This is an E85 car so the results are not swayed by leaded fuel.
Here are my results. I'm curious if the rest of you have something to compare it against.

i track all mine, but most are from autox. again though, it is not going to look the same as a built motor

i had a sample show lead in your range exactly once and then return to normal on the next sample. typically i was between 0 and 5. do another sample shortly after and see if it settles or stays the same. bearings can get nicked by a piece of debris and shoot the number up temporarily.

Here is my oil report. One was done with 3150 miles and the other at 4300 miles. Both seem identical except the one with 3k miles having a little more wear additives showing. Both oils were Z-Rod 10W 30, in FL with a bunch of Autocross runs. I have one going in soon with 5k miles, same conditions. If I am correct if I still have the same low wear and high additive counts, then I should be fine with going these 4-5k change intervals rather than the 3k that is always preached to do(Unless I ever track but that ain't happening anytime soon).
