Update on the Omega Evo: The weld in cage is now in and it has just competed in its 4th Javelin Sprint event this year and is currently leading the championship. The aluminium block continues to perform with zero faults and the car now has billet uprights on all round. We've lowered the car a bit more and it's handling quiet well even on road tyres as you will see in the following video. The superclutch which has been on the car for many years has had so much hammer and so many launches it finally gave up yesterday, but luckily the owner has a carbon carbon clutch ready to go in. A mere snip at around 7 grand . The mockup for the titanium flywheel has also been completed and who knows, maybe in the future we might even ditch the 8 year old £1000 Tein suspension for something a bit more special. I wonder how much lighter these are than the oem pieces. Also, is that a 4 plate clutch ??! XD

I fitted the uprights and arms to my car and it saved about 10kgs. The clutch/flywheel setup should save about 5 but I'll check when the titanium FW is made.
I wish I could afford the engine myself. No need to spend thousands on a dry sump kit as it runs the pump off the cam belt.
