I keep hearing people having good experiences with ebay flares...but nobody ever has a link to what they actually used. There are 100s on ebay and the first set I bought just sucked.
It's a roll of the dice, really.

Here is a link to what I bought.

Rear Over Fender Wide Arch Flares Kit FRP Fiber For Mitsubishi EVO 8 9 Vtex CBR https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F183705733008

They are by no means perfect, but with a little work they fit pretty good.

Ken's most recent videos talking about the Evo are interesting. I am trying to find out what rear fender flares are on his car, whether Voltex or something else.

Interested in what anyone else has used. I need some ASAP.

yea i used voltex double overfenders to do it to mine way back. had a few people on here ask.

If your handy with a dremel you can mark out and fit up pretty easily they are almost straight bolt up. esp if u get duraflex or something that has a bit of give in it. If i did it again however i would probably have glassed them to the guards on the outside then finished and painted over them so i can cut out the attachment points on the underside as you loose about 1" of tire clearance inside them if u leave that lip in.

From the article

Of course, this isn’t much of an issue at higher speeds, which makes the 8374 it ideal for the road course. For tight autocross events with an abundance of hairpins, the team use the smaller turbocharger for a softer delivery and a more manageable rush of torque, even with the full 30 pounds of boost available in every gear.

So they change the turbo when they're going between the road course and autox?

A custom carbon splitter, carbon sideskirts, tusk-like canards, a flat underbody, a rear diffuser, and an Evo VII wing at the rear give Thwaits the stability he needs.

Why the VII wing over the 9 wing? Just curious, I didn't realize the older ones had any advantages.

Wow, that's a gorgeous Evo!
Is there any more info about his ABS system? I'm not able to find much info on who sells it or any specs on it, I imagine it'd be Bosch Motorsports?

Last I checked, it was a $9k system. Not sure what pricing is these days. Serious stuff.

7 has adjustable angle yes.

8 wing is generally preferred because the blade is solid. the 9 blade is hollow and has been known to break under load

Yeah, always thought that was too much FSB rate combined w/very high spring rate (too much bar & spring combined?)

Dallas may know what he's running for bar & spring?
