Continental Divide Hill Climb
Decided to convert the PPIHC Evo back to gravel spec for the weekend and go for a record. The car has some damage from PPIHC, but thankfully many of the parts damaged were from 'tarmac spec' so it was just a matter of swapping parts to get it back up and running.
The AMS powerplant with high altitude MoTeC tuning hasn't missed a beat all season and has provided as much power as we could make use of (arguably too much on dirt). This hillclimb goes from 8,500 feet at the startline to ~10,500 in just over two miles...its straight up! http://youtu.be/xtVYRcB-1Ts Click the link to check out the full writeup: http://racekern.com/Kernracing/2011/...de-hill-climb/ Thanks for reading guys! Nice! I love that sound. (the engine, not the gravel) :)

Great camera location on the wing! The drop off and mirror almost hitting the trees says it all!

Great Video, outstanding driving!

Awesome :)

That's nuts....makes the armco at Watkins Glen look the same as driving in a pasture....

Awesome vid. Thanks for sharing.
And congratulations on the record!!! Eric |
Thanks guys! I was super psyched that one of my friends made it out and was able to capture some out of car footage...especially that he was at the last hairpin where you can really see the flat tire.

'I am a driving god!'
I think this applies. ;) Gratz on the record |
Yeah, with how it rips through 1st and 2nd gear I'd say you are making enough powerz - not easy to drive at that level; Nice Work on keep it on the road and going full out.
