Evo Dominates Blackhawk Farms Raceway - Andy Smedegard's Track Record

Andy (EVOizmm on Evolutionm) is at it again! Breaking the standing start track record at Blackhawk farms and making it "official". Congrats Andy!

Congrats! That's awesome. Love the boosted films. {thumbup}

Car looks a hell of a lot more stable than last year in that event. Great Job!

Thanks for posting Paul.

I really was impressed with the BFG's. Although it wasn't the best day out, they still provided excellent grip over the tires I ran last year (Hankook C91's).

NJ9MR May 30, 2013 09:22 AM

That's GREAT! Mnay Congrats!!

jerdeitzel May 30, 2013 12:49 PM

Nice job Andy! Those are also the widest tires you have run too right?

EVOizmm May 30, 2013 01:48 PM

I've ran 275's before but on a 9.5in wide rim. these 265 BFG's stand a few inches taller when mounted on the 10.5in wheels.

Congrats Andy... you have alot more faith in grip than I do! I get nervous just watching the slide into turn 5. You have huge brass ones my man!

JustinOlson Jun 5, 2013 12:35 PM

Very impressive! Can you run any wider of a tire in the rear with those 18X10.5 ET 30's?

Are you going to go back later this year?

I've got some Hoosier 275's i'm going to try next. I think it should fit. Keep in mind my rear fenders are pulled out almost a full inch from stock.

Congrats Andy! Sick run!

I'd really like to head back hopefully next time the temps will be above 55*!

With the newly found HP, a smooth shifting twin disk and the rear bar dialed in I'm betting I can shave another 2 seconds of my time.

Congrats! Looks like a blast

I'm betting you'll be in the 1:18's on a sunny, 70*+ day.

Let me know if you go back down, I may be interested in going again, and if not running, at least helping you out with whatever. Could even toss in my traqmate if you don't get one by then.

Jeff_Jeske Jun 6, 2013 11:55 AM

Keep your eyes open for a traqmate for me!
