Rear wing options

Whats out there these days. Looking back a lot of the companies who made good rear wings are no longer in business or stopped producing rear wings. Seems its APR or Voltex and thats about it.

For my purposes Im trying to loosely stay within NASA rules in terms of size and height.

Since Im going to have a modest splitter, Id like to balance a little more DF in the rear vs the OEM wing.

Anyone have opinions or know of good alternatives?

Aeromotion makes a nice rear wing as well.

Thanks. Looks to be a good option.

This tread needs more pics! I hear where you're coming from though as a lot of companies are no longer in business. Perhaps this could be a new business venture?

Another one to look at is Ciro Design Racing but Im pretty sure they use APR airfoils but just figured Id throw it out there.

Keep an eye out on the used market as you might be able to find something that is NLA and for a good price. Thats what I did with this impulse buy.

I am interested. Specifically in which heights you ran which were legal. And also price? Feel free to DM me pricing!

I've already talked about it with Marc but Nine Lives Racing is coming out with a wing kit for evos soon. Retail price will be under $1000.

Their wings are made of extruded aluminum and feature a slot in the rear that allows you to run different length gurney flaps that change out in minutes. TONS of miata, s2000 and vette guys run their stuff and they've really gained a strong presence in the track community over the past two years.

All their wings are CFD tested too, they're not just using it as marketing spiel to attract customers either like lots of companies do. They post a lot of their results and info stuff on their FB page.

Im in the market for a new wing potentially but need to find something with a decent functional aerofoil. The voltex type 5 is getting a bit tired.

I also forgot to mention NLR recently released a dual element wing. Well technically it's an add on. It just adds on a second element to their wing so no need to ditch their single element to upgrade to a dual element.

Aren't they back? I kept hearing they were way back and even running another batch of these.

I picked up a dual element Ciro Design Racing wing for auto-x and got end plates to convert it to the single for track events.

That's the first I've heard of this, I do like mine but if I was in the market for a wing I'd be all over the NLR stuff. Same performance for 1/4 the price, only big difference being that you can't brag about it being carbon.
