Goodbye MAF...

In addition to the research I have done which is conflicting, it is supposed to start up much faster rev more freely and run light years smoother than the original. And supposedly a little bit better software, not to be mistaken with more user friendliness.

Not much to report, the car is running, driving, and pulling very smoothly! All is working well. I've spent most of the past week and a half just driving the car to see what my fuel trims do but they're still hovering very close to zero so I think that aspect is dialed in perfectly. The car makes nice clean and strong WOT pulls, it does taper a bit rich in the upper RPM's though so I'm probably going to pull out a bit of fuel tonight.
How's the partial throttle drivability?
While my car is down, I'm going to making changes to the setup. It currently has a MBC, so at the very least I want to switch it over the direct boost control on the JDM map sensor. Speed Density sounds very interesting but I'm not quite sure the pros/cons of each system.

Part throttle drivability is great. The biggest benefit to switching over to SD in my eyes is how much smoother the idle and low-speed/RPM drivability becomes.
I tried ECU-controlled direct boost (with JDM MAP sensor) for about a year and was never impressed with it so I switched back to a MBC and couldn't be happier. I know plenty of people will disagree with me so to each their own, just my 2-cents.
