Once again perfect work from PTP. Dropped the car off before they opened and icked it up on the way to work. One problem though, apparently Marc didn't touch my car today and Kyle did the whole install. I am just glad my car doesn't have a throttle cable lol.

Joking aside, great pricing and work. The whiteline kit makes a huge difference, car feels much tighter and responsive.

good, that's the way my car feels, i just thought it was mainly the new tires,
so now i know the Whiteline WAS much of the difference.
anybody w/a lowered car should seriously consider this mod

Haha, we would never do that! Forrest took care of your car start to finish. Glad you're enjoying it.

BTW-For anyone wanting tires mounted, these guys have the BEST tire mounting machine in DFW imo. They did an absolutely perfect job mounting A046's on my new wheels. No scratches, nothing!

Would the whiteline kit make a huge difference on a stock height RS? I've always wanted to replace every bushing with poly....What a difference that would make!

The whiteline kit re-aligns your steering angles after your car has been lowered, putting it on your car in stock form would do the opposite and take your perfectly aligned steering mechanism and throw it out of whack. Secondly don't replace all your bushings with Poly...you'll be going backwards as a lot of the Evo's suspension components are mounted with encapsulated spherical links. Do some searches in the suspension tech form and you will find the ones that you shouldn't touch, I don't remember all of them right off hand. There are some that Poly will be an upgrade for, and there are some that Poly is a serious step down.

Exactly, you don't want to replace some of the bushings since they are already a-ok. And yes again, the Whiteline kit will correct the geometry of a lowered car but on a stock ride height Evo its a step backwards.

I went there to have some camber plates installed and the requisite alignment. It was fast and painless. Good guys, honest work, and I am off to Eagles Canyon in 1 hour to see how the car likes -1.5 in front instead of the standard -.5. The cost of getting GT3 Control arms is not worth the extra -.5 degrees.

I had to cancel my appointment due to not having parts to make my car run. I was so stoked to get my Advan's put on!

Thanks alot. I kinda knew the answer to the whiteline ? but I thought I'd ask anyway. And as far as replacing all the bushings, I know what youre talking about. I guess I meant the bushings that should be replaced, lol.

I just got back from PTP and all I can say is WOW! These guys really do live up to their reputation. I have really never had the opportunity to give a local shop their due credit because I feel they should earn it, I am very pleased with my visit to PTP. The entire gang is really nice and they do the kind of work I would expect everyone to do. Everyone here on the forums, total a-holes or not, knows how hard it is to make me happy. This is the first local shop I have been to that does what they say and lives up to their reputation!
