Not bad, if we get half those to show up, it will be a nice cruise.

I'm not on facebook, but i'm in;
my dad lives in georgetown and I'll be go'n down friday, so I'll meet everybody in Kerrville.
Drive defensively, there will be several troopers on 281. I've had one instant on radar ticket and 5 warnings for no front plate

Point is...I don't want to endanger anyone who doesn't feel safe driving in these conditions. I'd hate to see one of you bite it in a turn cuz your summer tires couldn't cut it. I would feel terrible. It's my nature. Everyone knows the risk. That's half the fun.
This is not a drive for the tame at heart. Those who have done it already know this.

There is NO shame in playing it safe and waiting for a warmer cruise.

Just do me a favor, if you're not going, can you please change your status from GOING to NOT GOING? That would help me greatly in determining final numbers.

Thanks again, everyone!

-Marc.
Turk is out; Tom & myself are now maybes with plans to watch the weather forecast closely and play it by ear. Driving these roads aggressively will be downright dangerous in bad weather conditions, especially if you're on summer rubber with the temps in the 30's.

Our Groupon hotel deal requires a 48-hour cancellation notice so we will be deciding Thursday morning based on the weather forecast at the time.

That sounds wise to me too.
I've done them in the rain, but icy??
I don't think so

Yeah it looks like most of the **** is going to hit you guys in Dallas and north of Waco. There are still a few brave souls coming down from DFW in Trans Ams and such tomorrow, but the majority of people coming are already in Austin or San Antonio, way south of the ice and freezing rain that oyu guys will get.
So hopefully, a good sized group will still show up from down here.

I'll hafta catch you guy in the spring

This is sad for multiple reasons. 1-I'm in CO but will be in TX in a few weeks so I'll miss it.... 2-Even when I'm there it'll be Houston so I'll still miss it, lol. Have fun!

come up here for a toy cruise
Now that the Eagle's Canyon Toy Day has been rescheduled for Saturday, the 14th, i can set up a cruise in SW to NW DFW area, ending up at the racetrack. We will drop off our toys there and those that want, could get a ride in one of the EvolutionDynamics EVOs
I'll be posting the cruise in a day or two
