I had replaced my clutch about a month prior to the recall being issued. Mitsubishi told me they would have paid for a replacement clutch but only if it was installed after the recall was issued. I was not happy... and I think the new clutch was trashed by the old cmc because I feel like it slips. Took me 19 hours to put that fawking clutch in.

The clutch was not trashed due to the stock/original CMC. Remove the stock clutch restrictor pill inside the slave cylinder, it will help.

is there a way to tell if my car is still on that recall list cuz i just bout a 2008 about 3 months ago ?

All 2008-2013 Evo X GSR's are included in the recall.

ok is there a way to check what recalls have been done without talking to the dealer first

Just call a dealership service department and ask them to run your VIN for any open recalls.
