Best place in DFW to get an Evo X tuned?
Hi everyone,
Thought I would try to bring some life back to this section. Long time lurker on here not much of a poster. I am in Las Colinas, I have had my '08 for about 6 years now. It was mostly a daily, but finally have some time to start really modding it, and I wanted opinions on tuners in the area.
I've dealt with Cobb tuning in Plano(Growler) for almost everything so far, they have always been super awesome to me, and even recently did a wonderful job installing my Competition Clutch stage 2 w/ACT streetlite fylwheel.
Its been on basic bolt ons(3 inch catback w/test pipe, AMS intake, ETS uicp, ETS 3" fmic) and a stage 2 Cobb access port tune, but I'm going to mod the car a bit more, and wanted to know the best shops or tuners around here to get the max amount of power out of her.
List of mods on the way:
-AEM boost and air/fuel ratio gauges(have just been using accessport to monitor boost)
-AMS widemouth downpipe
-MAP cast exhaust manifold
-Grimspeed 3 Port
Another tip I would like is what you would suggest fuel wise for the gains I'm shooting for.
I want to get as much HP out of the stock turbo on pump without going E85 just yet. I am shooting for 370-380, but would I most likely have to upgrade my fuel system as well? Or could my stock injectors/fuel pump handle a tune for that amount of hp? If I need to upgrade my injectors and fuel pump I'll consider that also.
Anyways, thanks again. Any fellow Evo x owners in Las Colinas/Irving area? I see a few here and there. Thanks
-Felix

Thanks man. I almost forgot about this thread because I never really got any feedback. But yes once I eventually stumbled across Evolution Dynamics, I've been speaking to Kevin a lot(I think that was his name). And he's been very helpful in answering a lot of my questions. I plan to head out there next week to get some parts installed, and look forward to a tune from them soon!
