Steelers Fans Forced Silent Count
From Jason La Canfora at Redskins Park:
In what may be the saddest testament yet to the sight of the Steelers' fans taking over FedEx Field last night and dominating the lower bowl with all the terrible towels, the Redskins offense had to go to a silent count at times, at home, because of all the noise the visiting fans were making.
"We had to go silent at least a couple of times," one veteran player said. "It was loud down there, espeicially on third down. I never seen anything like that, at home, with 90,000 people there. It seemed like they had more fans than we did. That was sad. They had guys like Troy [Polamalu] raising his arms on third down and all these people are yelling and screaming for the Steelers. It was pretty sad, man."
That's about as bad as it gets, folks. Not sure how that happens with a 100,000-person waiting list and all of that good stuff, but I've never seen anything like that before. Steinberg has more on the topic, too.
Another story on the topic at WaPo
This is a team with a sellout streak of 350+ games. And a waiting list for season tickets a decade long.

if you don't like the guy for a valid reason, that's fine and i totally respect that.
but when people start making up ridiculous slanders like "he is a socialist", that just irritates me, because nothing could be further from the truth. as a general rule of thumb, if rush limbaugh says it, it's a complete fabrication.
if you actually would take the time to sit down and go through his issues, you would probably find that you agree with him quite a bit.
once again, socialism isn't even in the ballpark here.

No one likes bush, he is rouge out by himself a complete idiot. But dont say 8 years, we have only been in trouble for 2 now and its going to get ALOT worse with Obama in the white house.
thank you everyone who voted for change. If i were a US citizen he would have my vote no questions asked. I cant stand all the uninformed and unintelligent voters who think they are important and everything revolves around them.
Hey guys,
I just picked up a X from Baierl on Saturday and over the weekend spent some detailing the exterior.
Unfortunately, there are a more than a few surface scratches beyond my basic detailing skills (read-I don't want to screw up the paint) that need professional attention. To Baierl's credit (and likely Mike's arm twisting) they are willing to correct it.
Does anyone know of a good quality detail shop North/Northwest of the city? I'm out in Beaver, but am north of town frequently.
Any suggestions would be happily accepted
Thanks,
Patrick
BTW, the X is a very impressive car

redistribution of wealth my friend is socialist or communist you choose. Btw this doesn't work and hasn't in any country that has tried. Your energy bill is going to skyrocket because of his tax plan for coal, guess who gets to pay for the people that wont be able to afford to pay the energy bill.... your pocket, ya the money you work hard for now will get to pay for peoples energy and since everyone deserves healthcare you get to pay for the healthcare of crackheads and drug dealers and such... out of your pocket.
You need to take a look at the tiered tax system that was introduced to the US in the first place (by republicans I might add). More income = more percentage towards tax, and less income=lesser percentage towards tax. The idea that being/voting democrat is somehow being communist/socialist/unpatriotic/non-religious is perhaps on of the biggest illusions the republicans/conservatives have created in the history of the USA.

More income = more percentage towards tax is what happened during the depression that really worked out.
why should other peoples(the rich) money be given to me?? I dont want it I dont take handouts. I want the government involved in as little of my business possible, thats the way the constitution is setup. Obama wants the government in everything.
