Hey, has anyone in the Boston area had cams installed in thier Evo's? I'm looking for a good local shop. Any leads apreciated, thanks!

 

I got cams but I went to turbo trix because they tuned the car as well and IMO they are the best and offered me the best price most shops no names given were asking for $100 more.

 

It isn't hard to do, do it yourself, there is a good writeup somewhere on here.

 

I'd rather do it myself, just don't have tools time and space right now. LOL, TT isn't exactly local, I need a shop to put them in whilst my ECU and TB are en route back and forth from WORKS. Thanks -There must be some good garages around here!? Anyone?

well maybe you could come over my house and we can work on ur evo, i got cams in my evo but right now the engine is all taken part out right now. lol. and i got tools but.. never install myself. maybe we could help eachother out. i live eastern CT pm me anytime if u want to do that.

i agree Dent Sport is the way to go if youre local...ive installed 3 sets on cams on evos..so its nothing new to me...i live in walpole so if you wanna contact me, i'll see if i can help..click on my sig for DSG site...they are one of the best...

 

or you can call Franz at KTR Performance. Not only he can install the cams, he should be able to tweak the software based on your new modifications.. In house dyno to boot also.

He has Autronic Standalone and Revolver Experimental Cams on his own EVO8.

I know one of the coowners to T3 Motorsports has a nice evo8... they might be able to help you..

 

t3 sucks in all aspects, dont go there. Try Trick Engineering, i know they do alot of hondas, not sure about mitsu but they do great work and they are always at the dragway putting down great numbers and showing excellent clean work.
