So I went to Ocean Mitsubishi to talk to the general manager to see if he could paint or make the shop owner that they sub-contracted my car out to after my accident re paint my car, but after a long argument he just walked off. I got major chipping in my front bumper and hood and after he looked at it he say's I drive behind somthing that is kicking the stones up to chip the paint. Does he think I tailgate semi's???? Then he ask me If I live on a dirt road, and I say yes I do BUT on my dirt road I can only do about 5-7 miles an hour on because it's a pot hole road. So hee also say's that because of my road the paint is chipping off from the rocks on the road.............I didn't know I had a tire in the front center of my car that kicks stones up........do you guy's have one????

THEN he tells me that I have a bunch of stones in the intercooler and that he has another used Evo on the lot that does have any......... yeah right I went over to the other one that was half way across the lot and that Evo had stones and bent lines on the intercooler just like mine..........also this Evo had a Bra on and underneith it ther was chipping.

One other thing he said was that because I have a 300hp car that it's going to chip compared to my fathers Oldsmobile that was parked next to it. So now this guy's is telling me how I drive. He says that the paint is different from the Oldsmiobile from the Mitsubishi......so I guys Mitsu has some Sh*tty paint then.

So there is much much more to this story but any way possible try to stay away from this Crap in the wall dealership. All they want to do is sell the car and then they stick it to you after that.......

Bro u didnt know the stock paint is ****, everyone gets the paint chipping on the fron t of the car. Good luck trying to get the stealership to pay for it

 

I Know now...........I love my car but ..........thats just lame.

 

I would have to say most dealers suck period and would avoid them at all means, unless it is warranty work.
