For those of you who are close the the area, I thought I would share. McClinton Cheverolet/Mitsubishi in Parkersburg WV is awesome. Over the holliday's my powerstearing pump went out and 2 & 3 synchro's were rough. So I decided to take it in and see what they said. I told them that the car had been modified but all the parts were taken off except for the exhaust and intake. Thinking that I was **** out of luck, I didn't lose any sleep over waiting on an answer as to what they would do. The next day the service manager calls and tells me that the p/s fluid is burnt up and he wanted to know if they could change it to see if that alleviated my lack of p/s. He let me know that it would not be under warranty to change the fluid and I gave him the go ahead. He calls back a couple hours later and says that it did not fix the problem and he would call mitsu and get back to me. He calls me again in a couple hours and told me that the tranny would be repaired under warranty and the p/s would be warrantied as good faith since I let them change the fluid and it didn't work, which is great b/c the pump was 630 bucks n some change. I asked when the car would be done b/c I had to head out of town by the 7th and he said hopefully the parts would get there on the 5th and they would have me out that day or the next. Even though it was cutting it close I decided to proceed. As I'm dicking around after new years without a ride he gives me a ring on the 2nd and tells me that it is finished, they rushed the parts and got everything finished. The only thing that didnt get warrantied was the after market cat, its burnt up and I'm getting not so good gas mileage so I'm on my own with that one but hey...2 out of 3 you cant complain. Just thought I would share a great dealership for a change.
