PowerMist Race Fuels in Newton, NJ. Premium methanol, last I checked, was around $30 for a 5 gal can. That shouldn't be too far from you.

After you cross the GW Bridge into NJ, Newton is about 50 miles out Rt 80 west. You get off at exit 25 onto Rt 206 N and go about 12 miles.

Its only like another 30 minutes past your girl's house. Even if you're coming from Queens, its worth the drive to save a bunch of money. I called VP and they want $58.30 for a 5 gal can, plus $64 shipping. If you order it from a dealer, they'll tack on shipping fees plus their usual markup. Either way, you pay for it. I just think its easier to take a couple hours out of my day to drive down there and buy 3 or 4 cans at a time so I don't have to pay crazy shipping charges.

If you want to find a closer distributor, just call VP East and ask them for names & phone #'s of dealers in your area. They're all over the place. I called VP the other day and found out, to my surprise, there are 4 VP dealers close by. Mainly motorcycle shops, car dealerships, etc. But nobody I found stocks cans of Methanol. Anyway, the phone # for VP East is 302-368-1500. PowerMist lists their dealers in each state on their website.
