Hey, just seeing who were the Evos at New England Dragway in Epping NewHampshire tonight.

I talked with a few, one with a white 05 I believe, a white RS, and 2 Silver ones.

I had the Gray MR that my clutch grenaded or something. I had the black leather jacket on, white shirt, jeans and yankees hat.

I will be taking the tranny apart after a few small tests first but on my only decent launch of the night I went to hit third and the clutch was to the floor and didn't come back. Would boggle my mind that we would have to bleed it as it doesn't feel like that but we shall see.

Best of the night was a 12.6@116 with a 2.198 60'.

Yo, that ride sucked going home. Cost me 12 bucks cause I had him get off at my exit instead of my boys shop one exit back so it went to 104 miles instead of about 100.

Haven't taken it apart yet. Gonna do some small things first like bleed the clutch, then we are gonna take it apart in a couple of weeks if not and then check the clutch.

I was there i had the silver evo right behind you the run before your car broke by the way i have it on video.... but yea we talked for a little... so it was your clutch ?

 

Yeah we got it on video too. My friends girlfriend is in the background thinking I missed a gear and she is like oh sucks on finally an ok launch and he should learn from this... then sees that I am not going down the track very fast.

We aren't sure what it is yet, we are ripping the tranny out next saturday.

We have so many different things people have said, whether it is the clutch master or slave cylinder, clutch line, retainer clip on the Pressure Plate, shattered pressureplate, something welded in the clutch, something shifted, etc.

Do you have your video online, ours is hard to hear/see on the run.

 

hey nesiop, what are you trapping on pump gas with your 35r? What kit do you have? how's the spool, driving around town? I'd love to get a ride in your car if you're ever nearby!

 

My best trap that night was 116.86 or something@20psi. Spool is full by about 4700 or so I would say. Drive around is not bad, cept my tune isn't good on part throttle so it is bumpy but nothing to do with the turbo. But I mean if you cruise down a road in 3rd you won't spool nice but thats obvious.
