Clearbra install... From Boston to Colorado!

Ok, shot in the dark here, but just testing the waters...

I do professional window tinting, & clearbra installations here in Colorado.

My website: www.qualitytint.com

Anyways, I bought a 4x4 pickup truck in Boston, & will be flying out there to purchase, & then drive it back to Colorado. I figured that if I'm going to be traveling cross country like that, why not make it a business trip, & offer EvolutionM.com members a chance for a professional clearbra install, especially if they don't have any installers in their area, since it is a somewhat new automotive accessory. (Here in Colorado, it's been very strong for 12+ years)

If there is a decent amount of interest, I may look into the possibility of becoming an EvolutionM.net sponsor & maby doing mobile installs, like Al does with Dynoflash! haha.

Attention Adminstrators.. If this is unacceptable marketing, I apologize, & will not be offended if you remove this thread. If there is significant interest, then I'll look into sponsorship potential...

Most corresopondence seems to be in this thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=215368

FYI - Major cities I’ll be driving through: Boston, New York, Pittsburgh area, Cleveland, Chicago, Des Moines, Kansas City. If you’re nearby or willing to drive, anyone and ANY car is welcome, not just strictly Evo’s so tell your friends and family!

If you’re truly interested, please provide:

1.What city are you in?
2.Can I install the clear bra in your garage? (I.e. Is there enough room around the car for me to maneuver?)
3.Will I have access to the car during normal business hours, if arranged? (Full wraps including the hood, bumper and mirrors takes 4-5 hours to install)
4.Make, model, year and COLOR of your car.
5.How far up the hood do you want protection? 12”($145), 18” ($215), or 24” ($275) This includes fender tips.
6.Do you want the bumper done? ($300-$400 depending on model of car)
7.Do you want side mirrors done? ($20 per mirror)
8.Do you want headlights done? ($20-$30 per headlight depending on model of car)
9.Do you want door edges done? ($7.50 per door)
10.Anything else you’d prefer done? (i.e. Trunk lip, roof edge, behind the tires, etc.)
11.Any other questions?

Attention: Take a 15% discount off these prices for the EvolutionM.net discount.

I will provide a quote to each of you based on what you want done and what type of car it is. I may be significantly cheaper than most shops in your area, I may not. I do, however, GUARANTEE the highest quality work. Again, I have personally been doing this for 12+ years. I do NOT use kits, I only do custom installs on every car to provide maximum protection (i.e. rolling over the leading edges of the hood, rolling around the fender into the tire well, etc.). Keep in mind that some people have paid $800 for a KIT install that doesn’t fit as well, cover as much area, or look as clean as my custom installations.

To secure your spot, I would like to be paypaled a deposit of $100 before I leave for my trip next Tuesday 8/8. After I provide a quote to you, please paypal deposit to account: quest49s@comcast.net Since I won’t have my credit card machine, you will need to provide CASH or CHECK at the time of service. I have never had a bad check given to me, and I expect it to continue with fellow board members.

Attn Admins: Since there seems to be interest, please contact me about sponsorship or donations to the board.

Thank you,
Norm Schilling

I posted a picture in the Midwest forums HERE that shows where the 12", 18" and 24" will typically cover on an Evo. It didn't let me post the same picture in multiple forums.

There are many pictures on my website, particularly on THIS page that shows you the care I take in making sure the job is top notch.

I typically do Evo's for $225, but I don't do mobile window tinting because absolute highest quality is my goal and I cannot ensure a dust-free install when I'm not in my well-lit dust-free shop.

Sorry.

Looks like I have a job in New Jersey now also. Anyone else between New York & Colorado?

You don't have to do the whole front wrap, as doing the hood is the most important part of paint protection, and it would be pretty quick to do the hood only, or hood/mirrors. The fenders are INCLUDED with the hood, k?

We're leaving VERY early Tuesady morning, so if interested, I really need to know by Monday night.

Thanks!

Review of 'Clear Bra' install

I just had 'talon2evo' install the clear bra on my IX. First of all, he(talon2evo) did an amazing job. Although I am not an expert, I can really see that he puts some high quality materials and works into this product. I got my front bumper, hood and mirror done. It took him about 4~5 hrs to complete the job. He uses 3M films and custom tailors the film to get a perfect fit on the car. It came out really nice, and it's almost invisible to naked eyes. The most impressive thing about his products is that he doesn't use pre-cut films that other installers use. He custom tailors the film to get a perfect fit for your car. I am really impressed with his work!
Also, he offers a discount for members here and his price is very good compared to local places. He just left boston and is heading down to New York. I strongly recommend his products and suggests you to get in touch with him (SN:talon2evo) to get this wonderful thing for your car.

Norm, thank you for the amazing job and have a safe trip back home!

P.S I believe that he will be in NY for a couple days and drive back to Colorado. So, any members who is interested in 'clear-bra' and lives anywhere between NY and Colorado should PM 'talon2evo' for details for this wonderful opportunity.

I just want to note that it's not late for this even if you already have few rock-chips on the car. Talon2evo will take care of them with his amazing touch-up skills. My car already had few chips and he touched them up amazingly before he installed the films. Quality stuffs!!!

Thanks ROK EVO for the thumbs up!

We got back to Colorado tonight (Monday) which is one day late.. We had to stop in Topeka Kansas to get the water pump on the truck replaced.. It started leaking a little bit around Des Moines, Iowa, & we could make it about 175 miles before it ran out of water, & we re-filled the radiator, & made it 100 miles, & refilled the radiator, & then it wouldn't go 10 minutes.. Grrr. Oh well, we got it replaced, & drove home today.

Anyways, if anyone has any questions about clearbra in your area, just give me a PM, as there are a lot of very un-skilled installers still, & I can help you with asking the right questions, & avoiding problems.

Again, goto the website to learn a lot. www.qualitytint.com
