Anyone from this area? I am traveling up to worcester next month to see a hershey bears game when they play worcester. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to do in that area?
Also does anyone know of any beaches that are not too far away that have good drives along the coast, or places where you can drive out on the beach?
Thanks

Only real beaches in Boston is Revere beach. It's a short strip, not the prettiest of all, but a longer strip.
Short of going down to Cape Cod, you're out of luck.
Oh, maybe Plum Island, that's North of Boston.
If you're going in to Boston from Worcester, come by Natick mall, it's a larger mall and a big strip of misc stores. After that, you head into Boston where parking is scarce, and traffic is a plenty.
(Natick is about 1/2 way from Worcester to Boston... Exit 13 off Mass pike I-90).

Cape cod is where all the beaches etc are! Problem being.. it's winter season, so most shops and other things are closed for the season so it'll be more of a dead town....
Maybe you could head out to see Martha's Vineyard, but again I don't know if they're shut down completely now.
Plymouth Plantation and ... shoot, the other one I can't remember. They are both "villages" that act out their role for the time period they are set in. One stays open all year around, one closes. Sorry I can't think of the name.
Also to visit might be the museum of science and the aquarium in boston. The aquarium is the same owner as the one in Baltimore, but Baltimore is much much better

IMO it's very worth it. Very relaxing, very moving. A+ place to be. Great to sightsee even during Winter, but make sure you dress up warm. You're going to be freezing you *** off. Everything is closed this time of year though.
Well cape cod sounds like the place ill check out, definitely will dress warm.
As for the aquarium , that sounds like a plan as well. I have been to baltimore a numerous amount of times only live like 1 hr from it very awesome place.
Thanks to everyone for the ideas...keep em coming
