it wasn't wearing loafers was it?
I dunno maybe it was my shoes. The car wouldnt go into gear for like some duration of time between shifts. It was the same duration between gears and it wasnt grinding, just lke blocking the gate. Maybe i just need to shift harder.
Time for a new CW shifter knobby. Plus, you can get lockout when it's cold...it takes the trans a decent amount of time to warm up. Or, just be stronger...it's not too tough, I can show you.
Dex, I'll be home tonight but there's really no rush or need for you to go out of your way. I'll grab the hat from you on Tuesday...just didn't want you to see it and get all confused or donate it to the hatless shelter.

it really does take a while for the trans to warm up. 6-7 minutes on the highway is enough to heat it up - and then a high rpm clutch slip for good measure.
lockout is really common. where are you getting the lockout? upper rpms, or lower, and which gear.

somewhere in the 7800 rpm range. hrmm maybe it was just cold. I have never really experienced it THAT bad before.
